Thumbs up Solved - In beta6 and RC2 32bit Mouse not work!

I work great with RC2 64 bit, and I am testing now a fresh install of Mepis 6.5 beta 6 32 bit on other disk (live cd is perfect) after installation and boot fom HD, keyboard is OK but mouse dont work, the same problem with fresh install of RC2 32 bit.
I love Mepis!
I have this problem only with beta and RC 32 bit, all is OK with 6.01 32 bit and 6.5 64 bit.
My hardware setting:
Asrock 939dual-sata2 - Bios 1.80 - Athlon 64 - San Diego 4000+ - Zalman CNPS 9500 AM2 - Arctic Silver 5 - 4x512 RAM PC3200 - Asus EN7600GT 256MB + VF700-CU - Enermax NoiseTaker II 600W - 4HD in Muliboot da BIOS per Mepis 6 - Ubuntu 6.10 - Win XP SP2 - Vista Ultimate (e VMware Workstation per linux) -
Logtech cordless desktop kit (keyboard + mouse) PS/2 - usb

Why?

Sorry for my bad English

I see you have a cordless set... Just to eliminate possible causes... Do you have a wired set handy? Maybe you could try that.... Might be a case of batteries or whatever.

If it works in another OS that you can boot on the same machine, something else is up.... Try using the MEPIS X config tool to activate USB and / or PS2 mouse and try again....

Thx Carlops for your suggestion, but I dont know how to browsing my system without mouse-click selecting menu bar, and enter in mepis x config!
In live cd all work perfectly.
In the same machine (multi boot by BIOS) mouse and keyboard work super and automatically without any setting configuration (mepis 6.01 - mepis 6.5 RC2 64 bit and Ubuntu 6.10).
Without some trick/tip I cant test 6.5 32 bit :(

LOL

Then something is up with the automatic detection. This might be a bug.

Could you not temporarily connect a cabled mouse to perform the changes I suggested??

Oh, one tip:

fire up live CD and use MEPIS X asistant to only activate the devices you need. Then use MEPIS X assistant to reinstall X config. That might work....

I retest a fresh install of 6.5 32 bit RC2, with other mouse with USB port, but I have the same prolem, in live cd all work great, after istallation boot and login, NO MOUSE, NO AUDIO, NO NETWORK, i think perhaps one bug in recognising hardware module at kernell in the boot??

My 64 bit RC3 (this morning) WORK SUPER!!!

THX
