Kaffeine-0.8.3 deb available

I compiled a kaffeine-0.8.3.deb tonight and it seems really good. I compiled it with 6.5 final. It plays dvds just like the old kaffeine. If anyone wants to try it I will email it to you. If it works for you like it does for me I will make a torrent out of it to put at linuxtracker.org

Here is my attempt at compressing the kaffeine-0.8.3.deb into a zip file that everyone can download and try. Use ark to unzip it and then kpackage to install. If you don't get RESULT=0 from kpackage then remove kaffeine and try the deb again. Don't completely remove it with all configuration files. Just remove it and then try the deb again.
Edit: I tried to add the .deb.zip file but I don't see where to grab it so I guess it didn't work.
I'll try again.
Still wouldn't work. It said the upload failed for some reason. I'll still email the deb to anyone who wants me to. I just need an actual email address to send it to. Sorry....I can't send it in a pm.

I finally got mine compiled with 6.5 final last night. I had successfully compiled it for 64 bit RC3 several days ago, but kept getting errors with 32 bit RC3. I had to run 'Make' as root, then all went well.

I also created a .deb file, have one for 64 bit and 32 bit if anyone wants it, let me know.

Eadwine the deb and the .deb.zip is only 4.3 Mb. I have uploaded it to linuxtracker.

Jason I'll send it to you on your mepisguides@gmail address right now. I've had a couple of guys report back that it works good for them too. Good news seeing that's the first deb I ever compiled or tried to.

Edit: I tried to upload the file again as an attachment renamed as .zip and not as .deb.zip but it failed so and I think it may be too big. Oh well you can get the new kaffeine from me in an email, or at filecloud where saist uploaded for me , or at linuxtracker where I am seeding it. Enjoy.
