In addition to new updates for Amarok, Warren seems to have put out some new files for Mepis System and Mepis Install that are now linked to OS-Prober.
Why do I get the feeling that Warren is working around the Vista boot problems? Why am I suddenly happy that he might be doing so?

All Vista users dual-booting with Mepis should see their installation problems solved and see their Vista partition in Grub menu. Now the question is: are there Vista users round here? Kinda non-appearing specie or what ?

Run a search on dual boot vista, enough comes up.
Let's hope things will be sorted now for the vista DBers :)

well, in my case of trying to do "everything"... it would be nice to be able to turn the current Vista test system back into a dual boot.

Indeed aimed at recognizing and adding a Vista boot-entry into the menu. But no one actually used Vista. So, If you can test it, please do and inform Warren Regards, ko |
